Subject: Patellar tendonitis w/o pain?
Can one have patellar tendonitis without pain. After a grueling 4 days in a row work out of consisting of biking on a trainer and running I experienced and still do (4 days later) an odd tingling sensation in both knees, right>left. Both knees initially felt almost numb/tingly, difficult to localize sensation, and absolutely no knee or loss of strengh or swelling. I'm on day 4 of rest/ice/NSAIDs, but it's starting to mentally get to me with pre-registered races coming up and fear of not being able to compete in addition to losing NON-refundable registration fees. Any thoughts or advice.

Why are you worried about it if it doesn't hurt.  If you are worried about the numbness/tingling and that hasn't gotten better, you probably need to see a doctor.

I was hoping for conformation that others had similar symptoms and I shouldn't worry and stop being such a hypocondriac. By the way, doctors make the worst patients.
