Subject: skin problem!
Basically the problem is this - ever since it started getting warmer and I've been training more often and outside, my skin has been breaking out on my face and a bit on my chest even. I take good care of my skin and don't normally break out, so I don't know what's going on. Anyone have suggestions on a cleanser or other solution for this type of exercise-induced acne? I feel like I'm 14 again! Argh! :-O

are you wearing sun screen? I am a red head too, and I am a sun screen freak! I find I break out with alot of sunscreen, but the other choice is to burn, which is a more lasting damage..... I use a lighter spray-on formula.....

Wash right after coming inside - don;t let it sit on your skin.

Ask a Dermotologist but I am guessing Rosacea(sp?). The wife has it and the sun gets her everytime. Just started up a couple of years ago for her but she gets it every year now. It is treatable with topicals from a doctor.

Wash your face only twice a day. Dove unscented is great for your skin. Don't use toner if it makes your skin feel tight. Use moisturizer after washing, preferably with sunscreen and vitamins E and C. Drink TONS of water. Pick up some OTC benzoyle peroxide cream to put on the zits.

If that doesn't do enough, head to the dermatologist. Some tretoinin cream (like retin-a) and prescription strength benzoyle peroxide can help. Warning, though, retin-a can make your skin more sensitive to sun.

If all else fails, pick up some concealer. I don't seem to have grown completely out of the zits stage so concealer is a must for me.
