My Spring 2012 schedule so far is this. Not sure about Fall yet.

Jan - Mt. Mist 50K
Feb - Mt. Cheaha 50K
Apr - SweetH2O 50K
May - Scenic City Trail Marathon

Sept - Haliburton trail 50 miler (will be my 1st at this distance)

Oct - Vulture bait 50 km

Congrats! That's going to be amazing. I watch video footage of last year's UTMB to get myself fired up for a winter run -- the course is nothing short of stunning.

The list of elite ultrarunners that are registered for this race is very impressive. http://www.irunfar.com/2011/01/americans-drawn-for-utmb.html This year's UTMB and Hardrock are going to be the premier 100s this year IMO.

Erik,

Have you heard anything about the Blues Cruise 50k race for 2012? I was planning on it last year, but fell in July and ruptured my spleen, which kind of killed any ultras for me for last fall. Now I am thinking about it for this year, but there appears to be no date set yet for 2012, and it looks like there has been no activity on the site. Have you heard anything?

Land Between Lakes Marathon (March 10)

Dances with Dirt Green Swamp 50k (March 24)

Running Fit's Trail Marathon (April 29)

Dances with Dirt Gnaw Bone 50k (May 12)

Dances with Dirt Devil's Lake 50k (July 14)

Old Farts Marathon (Aug 18)

Dances with Dirt Hell 50k (Sept 22)

 

I am going for the Boned, Bloodied, Burned, and Bruised belt buckle for the DWD series.  :-)
