Subject: Sandy, Utah training!

good morning everyone!

I live in Sandy and I am currently training for the Showdown at Sundown on May 19th Half Iron and could use some biking and running buddies. http://www.showdownatsundown.com/

I go to Lifetime fitness so I do all my swimming drills there and bike/run when it is cold out there but I also run outside and bike when the weather is acceptable.

If you are in the vicinity and look for someone to train with I am open, I am self motivated but this year I decided to be a bit more social and get some extra motivation from other triathlete.

You all triathlete have a wonderful 2012 racing year!

Hi, welcome to BT and good luck for your half!

You might want to post in the Utah forum (U.S. State forums, bottom of Forums page) ... you'll more quickly find BTers in your area or they can direct you to local group rides/runs/resources.

Hi There!  Welcome to the "neighborhood"

There's lots of group workouts in your area.  Just last Thursday we were running hill repeats behind the Wal-Mart @ Quarry Bend.  As well, the DimpleDell trailhead right by 24hr fitness is a favorite.
And of course there's always some psycho itching to ride up Suncrest when the weather's well.

Ask to join the Desert Sharks Tri Club facebook group.  That's where most of the workouts get posted.  Anyone can join in (member or not).

See ya 'round
