Subject: riding in VA beach area

Hello All, will be staying down in the VA beach area 3rd week in Feb.  Pending weather, how are road riding conditions (traffic, etc).

Any group rides go out regularly. We are staying right off the strip.  It looks like the boardwalk is very short correct? Any recommended routes?  Any routes to avoid. Probably looking to sneak out for a 2hr ride Sat or Sunday am.

Thanks for your replies.

Riding in VA Beach can be a challenge, to say the least. I highly recommend riding with Fat Frogs Cycle's group rides. They have safe routes and lots of groups to find one that suits you.

X2 on riding with the Fat Frogs! There are some great rides in VB but some areas that you want to avoid because of traffic.

They have their Cue sheet online if you can't make the ride time.  I did it solo last time and it was a nice route.
