Subject: Cannondale CAAD9 2008 pricing, help!

Hi,

 

I'm looking into buying this bike from someone (54 cm frame) and wanted to know what a reasonable price for this bike used & in good condition is so I don't waste my money.  I know that I'll probably end up getting a tri bike eventually but I want a solid and affordable road bike right now.

I bought a 2010 CAAD9 - 5 last June for $800. The guy was asking $1200 but I think he was hurting for money.
