Subject: high bike volume in a run recovery week I have a recovery week next week. I been doing a run focus block for 3 weeks around 30mpw. 1 long run 8-9miles 1 interval run 4 or 5 x 1/2 mile and 3 or 4 easy runs a week, only swim 1 day a week and bike 2 days 1 spin class and one day on trainer. So next week is a recovery week and the running will drop 25 - 50 %. With the weather to be great I was thinking of doing 4 bike rides of 1- 3 hrs easy in the week. Question is will that be a recovery week for my running still. I have had the trouble of not taking time off and doing the same thing all the time. This is the 1st time I have done the 3/1 week plan. I don't feel over trained just not progressing. Any help thanks |
