chsdaddy....You are right on about BTK. We ran it last year and had a blast and it's only 2.5 hours from here. It was my first solo race since 1995 and, like you, I used it as a learning experience. Nice open water swim, challenging bike course (not like Elephant man) and a decent run all taking place inside a state park. Organizers and volunteers were awesome.

I was going to do the BTK oly this year but opted for one in Moab the same weekend.  I need a July race for my calendar...

Well, I know that RockTractor will be out of town

 

But seriously, no idea of which heavyweights are doing it. You can get some idea by looking at the results of last years race, but that doesn't guarantee anything.

    • First Tri of the season is behind me... Las Palomas Olympic Distance.

    Well NMTrier placed 7th overall

     

    And Rocktrackor took 2nd overall in Rocky Point- kinda makes my results seem awfully mediocre

    That's ok, there's plenty of room for improvement

     

    Any of you "Big Shots" doing the Billy The Kid race in June? This will be my first oly since 1994. There is also a sprint for those interested.
