Well... I got shelled off the back of a one man race. I cracked.

I felt OK. Thought it was going to go OK. At least get what I got last time. Tried to stay a little over to make up for those times I wasn't. Could not hold it. Got back on the horse, but it was done. Suggested FTP was 228, down from 239. Even keeping the gain of 239, end result...

Dave Crushed It, Me, Us!!!

Awesome job Dave! Winner of the TrainerRoad Spring Challenge.

If off to go lick my wounds and figure out where to go from here.

Nice job Dave!

I kind of fizzled out on the TR riding, once the weather got nice.  I also got into a taper-race-recovery-taper-race pattern since about early June.

I don't think I improved much since the spring, recently (though outside the challenge dates) checked FTP, and I did bump it up a little since last time, but also put on a couple pounds.  But I'm losing that weight again.

New FTP of 271, 3.81 watts/kg.

One thing I noticed, is there a way to calibrate a Power Tap to Trainer Road?  I do it on the Garmin before riding, but I couldn't find that option in TR.

A manually calculated FTP for the same ride as the 20 minute test, recorded on my Edge 500, with a recent calibration, put the 20 minute average power, less 5%, at about 280.

Are you getting non-zeroes while coasting with TrainerRoad and a power tap?
