Subject: Garmin 500 edge or 310xt
I was planning on buying a 310xt mainly to upgrade bike computer and get heart rate on the bike. I have a 205 that I'm running with and am completely happy with. Although naturally I would retire the 205 if I bought the 310. Although I ran across a 500 Edge bundle with premium heart rate strap and cadence for $225. Which one will I be happier with on the bike.

Edge 500....mounts and looks cleaner...plus, it has an altimeter and gives much more accurate elevation readings than the 310.

x3 on the edge 500 if you're simply looking for a bike computer.
