Subject: elbow pain when swimming
I get pain in one elbow joint after a few hundred metres of swimming. I know that it is only when getting back into swimming for the season and will probably go away, but I wondered if anyone else experienced this and were there any exercises that you found prevented it from happening?

I feel your pain, well my pain anyway.

I've also been having pretty intense pain in one elbow from swimming. Mostly the pointy part of the bone on my inner arm, but also on the outside part of the bone.

My doctor said it was tennis elbow - from holding a narrow object for long periods. My Physical Therapist said it was golfer's elbow - from repetition.

I'd love to know if there are any suggestions for alleviating it.
