A better question would be if you are now required to put batteries in your shoes??

or are they re-chargable??

Battery in the footpod is not replaceable.

Though they're saying MSRP is $29.00.  Not a whole lot to spend.

And if you check out the software demos at http://nike.com/nikeplus/it seems pretty cool.

They even have video of Lance using one.

I want.  Now.
