Run For the Money 5K - Gastonia - Sat. 4/21

This "little" charity run has gone from a few runners to an expected TWO THOUSAND+ tomorrow.

I remember finishing in 2004 with less than 100 runners. The organizers have done a great job improving the race and handling the increased crowds. They have been receptive to runners' suggestions and it shows. Timing chips are disposable ( which I personally like ).

If you get a chance to drive over I think you'd enjoy this one. A little hilly, but not real bad. However the finish is on a long hill up South Street.
