jamesreeves - 2006-05-25 9:26 PM I'll be there! Anyone up for a long ride afterwards?

How long of a ride are you talking?  I'll need to ride for about 3 hours that day.  I can always cut out early if you're going farther.

I think I'll pass on the ride.  I'll probably ride later that evening when it's cooler.  Also, I'm too slow for you.

6 hours. I could do 2 3hour loops.

It will be fun communting 2 hours to the park in the morning in wet conditions. I hope the race will not be cancelled. I will not be a happy camper!

Rest well, peeps! And have a great race....

Yeah, I looked at that also... what a bummer.  The hill on the first mile of the run through the trail is going to be nasty!

Right now it looks like the sky is about to fall out where I'm at.  But ya know- they have been predicitng rain for awhile, and we haven't really gotten any.  So it might be dry.  I kinda hope it's wet so I can read some exciting race reports regarding the muddy hill.  Kidding.  It was super muddy last year but that's only becuase it had rained for an entire week before the race.

I'm making the BT sign tonight!  Look for me tomorrow!  I can't wait to meet everyone, and grab some food afterwards!

Good luck everyone! I hope you all have a great time! Sorry that the weather looks ugly. Our kids are doing a youth tri tomorrow - the weather looks ok. We wish we could be there!

See ya at the next race!

The race was great! I am SO glad the weather held off and we could do the tri; with all the rain forecasts I was afraid that I would have spent $200 and 2 hours driving for no tri! Thankfully that didn't happen.

I looked for the BT sign, but didn't see it anywhere. Am I blind (my wife would say 'yes'), and if so, where was it?

My race report is online, so I won't repeat myself here. Hope everyone had a good race!

I was there, had a blast. Good to meet SwankGuy and runnergirl. (I found them by swank guy's t-shirt). I met a couple of others, and I'm sorry, but pre-race nerves made me forget a few names.

I just posted my race report. Congrats to all, and hope you enjoyed yourself as much as I. Hope to see you at another race soon. (Anyone want to come to Cordele in August? Guaranteed flat, hot, and plenty of gnats.)

Hey ya'll!  It was great meeting everyone.  I will be working on my RR today.

I had the BT sign and was at the swim start, swim exit, and then the bike in and run finihs, and at the finish.  Hopefully it was visible enough.  The funniest thing was trimossy was exiting the water ans ran by me and said "nice sign."  I said- are you a BT'er- which one are you?  He replied "trimossy" and then I said' oh- good job!", and tried to get a picure of him running up the hill into T1.  My camera is slow and got his butt  from a distance
