Subject: Northern Michigan Beginner Triathletes?
I am living in Petoskey area and finding it difficult to meet and train with other beginner triathletes...seems like most of them are down-state. Anyone living in the northern MI area that knows of clubs/groups/ and/or individuals looking for folks to network and possibly train with?

I believe there is a group in Traverse, but I don't know who is in it or what they call themselves. I'm in Northern MI, but on the other side of the state, so it wouldn't help to join up with us.

Check with the bike shops.  You might find some good leads there.  There is a group, but I don't know how active they are and I can't remember their name off the top of my head.  Sorry.

Once school is out, I'll be up for the majority of the weekends and lots of Fri-Mon weekends.  I'm just north of ER and would love to get hooked up with some others.    Safety in numbers!

Talk to Chris at Latitude 45.  He might be able to hook you up with some people in Petoskey/Harbor Springs.
