I can honestly say that I like all three the same, and I enjoy them quite a lot.  I get Runner's High before I even get to the running lol  Just the anticipation of running sends off a rush of endorphins, I enjoy it that much.  With biking I enjoy it and lately I have even been getting a rush of endorphins from it now and then, that is relatively new, within the past couple of weeks.  No endorphin rush with swimming but I've always enjoyed swimming because you're in a kind of separate universe away from the world in your own little cocoon.

I suck equally at all three

The running seems to respond the most, started at 12mm+ and now I'm moving into 9mm splits.  I hit them, but not consistently with every workout.  That has been over four months of training.  With the bike I was at 12 MPH in January and I'm still there.  With swimming I had 4 lessons and I'm stuck at 3:00/100m.  I'm starting group swim this morning with my new tri coach, 2 times a week.

I love all three sports equally though the bike does scare me slightly - I've fallen (badly) one too many times. However, as I discovered this weekend in my 2nd tri, when I'm equipped with a roadbike, the bike is, by far, my best event - definitely FOP.

On the swim, I'm a pretty strong swimmer, so I make in out pretty quickly without expending too much energy.

The run - SIGH - however much I love it, is not my best event. I am just so darn slow.

Favourite sport generally is strongman, best is judo.

As far as tris go, I'm brand new and haven't done a race yet. With training outside of gym and mat I'm also brand new other than interval running. So its hard to tell which I respond best to.

I love swimming. Id say its my favourite. I'm rubbish and need a couple of lessons as I gasp too soon and need to control my breathing. But even when really going slowly I cover 25m in under 30 seconds every time I do one, but with only two recent swims under my belt I need practice in order to do it without a 60 second rest between! Lol.
My first session was a disaster, second was far better after massive BT and YouTube study. I think ill pick it up quick enough, especially as I love it.

Running is great, I'm can sprint etc but am not used to distance, I'm in week 2 and can cover 2 and half miles with a 10:40 mile/min, so am working up to 3 miles/5k before I start to think about longer distances and speed (though my joints are used to sprints).

Cycling - all I know is my full suspension mountain bike on my commute! All in good time. My endurance in my legs isn't bad so ill pick it up on my bike then borrow a hybrid for my first tri. If I like it in the event ill buy a roadbike then.

So I don't really know. I'm the stage where I could find myself loving tris, or ending up preferring one of the disciplines on their own. I'm really excited about being a good swimmer and getting to venture outdoors.
I'm also tempted to get back into sprinting.

I guess its all towards the greater good of not being a slow bodybuilder anymore and learning to be fit again!

My favorite sport to play is Basketball.  But now that I'm over 40 it takes my back too long to recover from!

My favorite sport to watch is a tie between Football and Hockey (Excited about RG3 to the Skins and Go Caps!)

As for tri's my favorite by far is cycling.  I love the speed, the gear, and the distance you can travel in a single workout.  So much more able to enjoy the scenery.  My least favorite (and worst) is swimming.  You can tell that from my logs.

As for my best in tri?  I'm pretty MOP swimming, upper MOP in cycling and running.  I am usally surprised to find my run the highest rank of the 3.

Favorite sport is (american) football, but one fantastic leg injury on a non-contact play was enough to convince me to not play it.

Best sport is far and away is cycling. I'm starting to enjoy running more and more, but I can't see the day I'm a better runner than a rider, I'm simply built for riding. Swimming is the just way you have to go to get on the bike, I try to go faster so I can get on the bike sooner.

Shop Cat - 2012-04-30 6:13 PM My best sport by far is cycling. My favorite waffles between cycling and running (right now I'm in a running phase). I tolerate swimming for the most part, although I do enjoy open water swimming.

Ditto - exactly.

Considering how long I *hated* running, this is a pretty amazing thing for me to realize.  Of course, now that I'm pretty much done with running for 2012, I may have to teach myself to change my preferences. ;-)

I have thought alot about this and don't really know.  My strongest, or where I feel most comfortable, it the run.  I have had some cool moments running, and have run at important times in my life to deal with things.  I love long runs, and in weather such as snow, rain, etc.

I also love the time in the pool, it is very calm and relaxing.

I am slowly warming up to the bike, but it is taking longer than I thought it would, but I had a great ride this weekend, so I am getting there.

So, though I would have to say there are things I like about all three, my strongest, and favorite is the RUN Kiss

My favorite sport to watch live: baseball
My favorite sport to watch on TV: swimming
My favorite triathlon sport: I like all three equally! Isn't that bizarre!

However, I *love* marathon swimming the most out of a S/B/R sport (as opposed to track cycling or 400m hurdles).

Best sport: sport karate (precursor to MMA). Won all three of my divisions in an open tournament at 3 weeks into the sport, started winning money at it several months in and kept it up for several years.

Best triathlon sport: swimming, by a long shot.
