Bike Touring Question - Northern California Peeps

If you're in Pt. Reyes you can continue south on Hwy 1 to Sausalito and catch a ferry to SF/Oakland or ride across the Golden Gate. The challenge is that Pleasanton is in the east bay and more difficult to reach safely by bike. There may be reasonable bike routes out there but you could also take the BART train from either SF or Oakland.

Be very careful riding across the Golden Gate Bridge!!!  Tons of people walking and lots of morons on bikes who have no clue how to ride.  Much safer to walk or run across the bridge.
