Subject: Garmin sensors and wheel disc cover?

I have a set of HED wheels I use on race day with a wheelbuilder disc cover for the rear. Transferring my Garmin sensors over to my race wheels, do you recommend putting the sensor right back on the spoke or taping it directly to the inside disc cover? I know the disc cover isn't that thick, just curious if anyone has had issues with the sensor not picking up the spinning gadget THRU a wheelbuilder disc cover?

THanks

It works through the disk cover.  I covered up my stock wheelset and the only thing i had to adjust was the sensor arm distance from the cover (was a little too close).

It works fine through the cover. It can be fun to relocate if the sensor is bumped out of line.
