Extreme Veteran 486 Syracuse, NY | Subject: anyone run in/used/liked/hated Zoot sneakers? Just looking for some feedback if anyone used the Zoot Advantage WR (Water Resitant) sneakers. Or any of their sneakers.... Currently using Asic Kayano but they seem to changing the Asics whenever I need new shoes and I have to go to a different, more expensive pair. I had to upgrade to the Kayano because they narrowed the heel in the previous shoe I was using. With the Kayano I seem to be getting more blisters. thanks! |

Regular 234 Chicago Area | Subject: RE: anyone run in/used/liked/hated Zoot sneakers? I recently bought a pair of Zoot Ultra Kalani shoes. I was looking for something that was made to be worn without socks. I've had them for about two months and so far have been very happy with them. I'm not a very experienced runner and came from a pair of NB trail running shoes, so from a comfort standpoint, the Zoots were a huge upgrade. |

Expert 1128 Fort Riley, Kansas | Subject: RE: anyone run in/used/liked/hated Zoot sneakers? Started running in Zoot shoes last year after battling ITBS, loved them, had 2 paired I rotated. Did all my races last year in Zoot shoes. Over the winter switched to Saucony shoes and immediately got an ITBS flair-up. I am back in Zoot shoes and stretching, rolling, and strength training and ITBS is going away again. I won't run in any other shoes. |

Regular 145 Wisconsin | Subject: RE: anyone run in/used/liked/hated Zoot sneakers? I just switched to Zoot about a month ago. I've logged about 80 miles on them so far. It was definitely a change since I came from a pretty thick healed mizuno and went to a minimalist shoe. When I first started running the front part of my foot was sore. However I don't think that has anything to do with the shoe itself, more so the type of shoe. Overall I like the shoe and would buy it again. My wife has the older ultra kalani and loves them for races. http://www.zootsports.com/spring2010/product/m-energy-3-f11?category=mens%2Ffootwear

Elite 3515 Romeoville, Il | Subject: RE: anyone run in/used/liked/hated Zoot sneakers? I LOVE Zoot shoes! I've strayed but always come back. There are no shops around me that carry them so I have to order them. That sucks! I've ordered the wrong size before. I still love the shoes. |

Actually the sizing (length) was a little smaller than what I'm used to. I usually wear size 12, and the Zoot 12's were a little short, so I went with 13 and they fit perfectly. I used to be partial to NB because they always seem to be a little more generous in width. The width on the Zoots seems to be comparable. The inside lining on them is also extremely comfortable on bare feet. I can't feel any seams or sharp spots that could cause irritation on my feet. |

I love how you refered to them using such an anachronistic word like sneakers. I would recoment the ZOOT Ultra Kalani for your first ZOOT shoe. If you are interested in buying a pair, i can give you a 25% off discount code to be used on ZOOT's web site. PM me if interested. |

1439 | Subject: RE: anyone run in/used/liked/hated Zoot sneakers? I have been in Zoots exclusively for almost two years now and love them. I will not train or run in any other brand. I tried them all prior to Zoots also. I usually use the ultra TT's but I have their racing flats I use for 1/2 marathons or less and I use the Kalani for cold weather and winter running as they do not have the drain holes in the bottom so they will not let in water and snow while running like the ultras and racing flats will. Try the Ultra Race 3.0. All ZOOT's have the same heel drop, all that changes is the amount of cushioning. Excpet the Ultra Race, it's 1mm lower. |

X2 - If Zoot made a shoe with a 4-5mm drop, I'd use them exclusively. |

Extreme Veteran 391 Torrance, CA | Subject: RE: anyone run in/used/liked/hated Zoot sneakers? Got a pair of the Ultra Kanes for long, sockless distances.
I love them. They're more of a stability shoe (which is kind of opposite of what I normally run in - barefoot/minimalist shoes) but such a low profile that they work very well. I plan to get a pair of Ultra Speeds once I wear out my Vivos. |

Pro 9391 Omaha, NE | Subject: RE: anyone run in/used/liked/hated Zoot sneakers? I've been running in Zoot Ultra's for over a year now. Originally I just wanted to be like BryanCD so that's why I bought them. However, after I got them they were the most comfortable and lightest shoes I've ever owned in my life. They're so light that I literally added probably 15-20 seconds to my running pace by switching to them from Asics. I put over 500 miles on my Ultra TT 4.0's and have probably 100 miles on my new 5.0's this year. I can't see myself ever buying anything but Zoot shoes going forward. |

Expert 839 Anaheim Hills, CA | Subject: RE: anyone run in/used/liked/hated Zoot sneakers? I started wearing Zoot Ultra Kane's last year and love them. Super comfortable and just the right amount of support. My last pair lasted about just under 400 miles. I'm wearing the Kapalinis this year but want to try out the Ultra Owva for a race shoe, just haven't gotten around to picking up a pair yet. |

Expert 1121 | Subject: RE: anyone run in/used/liked/hated Zoot sneakers? I recently bought the Ultra TT based on Bryans recommendation. I've been wearing Asics Gel Nimbus for the last 12 months and could not shake the ITBS. Switched to Zoot and it is just about gone. Hopefully anyway. I put on the Asics again a few weeks back, instant flare up with the ITB. I don't think I'll ever buy another brand other than Zoot. Very light and comfortable. Recently ordered the Kalanis as well |
