Took advantage of 20% off Thule

EMS had a labor day sale for 20% off all Thule gear.  I had been thinking of roof racking my car and since the other half picked herself up a new Trek Madone 4.5 WSD (as her first bike!!!), she found that the 47cm frame was too small for the rack she had.  I hated the trunk rack I had for my car since my bike with the Zipp's on it tended to catch a bit too much wind for my comfort zone.  So since she needed a race (and my old one fit her new bike), and I was thinking of a roof rack...I took the plunge!  All in all I like it and the aero design of the bars aren't overly loud, even with the sunroof open.  It's a bit louder than before, but not unbearable.  It definitely holds the bikes MUCH more securely though.  Just have to remember no drive throughs anywhere!

All in all, not a bad purchase, and much better for traveling.  And I retain easy use of my trunk!
