Subject: Year to Year Training Volume So I was going over my logs and realized that by the end of June I would have surpassed my run and bike volume from last year....by june... I decided I needed a rest week because i've been carrying a pretty high level of fatigue. I'm training for an Ironman in September, which is why I have increased my volume so much. Is there a general rule of year to year volume increases or has anyone else dramatically increased there training like this and have any things to look out for? |
