I am looking for a GPS watch and am curios as to what you guys are wearing.  A priority is using the watch for OWS.  Give me some input.  Thanks.

I use the Garmin 910xt, it would honestly be between the Garmin and Polar if you ask me.

Two great in depth articles are from dcrainmaker.com

I also have the 910XT from Garmin.  I like mine very much, but I know others have had issues.  It's a hefty price tag, though...

310XT is a great watch too but the swim data is bunk.  the gps chipset / accelerometer is what they fixed with the 910xt.

Dudes I swim with have the 910, their info always lines up with each other, and my distance is always reading high by 40%.  In other words, it's pretty useless.

I'm gonna sell my 310 on eBay and get the 910.

I'm a cheapy and just use my free Nike+ app on my iphone for my runs. Obviously you can't use during swim unless you get a waterproof holder.

But free app + 15 dollar SPI belt worked into my budget a lot easier.

Kind of ghetto, but I take the straps off my 305, put it in a ziploc, and tuck it under my swim cap. Set it to lap every .1 miles and you have an idea of how far you're going.
