Subject: Where's your next race?
It sure is quiet in here in Utah. Everyone is probably working hard/training hard. So what is everyone working towards? We UT BTers are bound to be at some of the same races.

I have Saratoga Splash this Saturday. My first ever open water race. I'm excited and scared.

Next will be Echo on July 15th. My frist full sprint distance. Nervous but anxious to complete it

I hope to ride the century at the Ulcer in August and then hit a race or two before the summer is over. I saw a new race posted at Yuba lake first part of September. Seriously giving that a consideration.

Best of luck on Saturday! I'm sure you'll see a few BT'ers there.

I've signed up for the Provo Tri (sprint) and Echo (oly). I'm not quite sure if I'll be able to do either at this point, though.

I'm not sure if the new Yuba is organized by the same folks as the old one, but I've heard that it wasn't managed well at all. I'd suggest Ogden if you are looking for one around that time.

I also will be doing the Saratoga this weekend. I'll be in the pool though...I've only been swimming 4 weeks! :D

I went to the newbie clinic today...seemed like there was going to be a lot of first timers racing. Cool. Anyone else doing it?

Hope you all did well at Saratoga, I wish that I could have joined you, but schedule wouldn't permit. I am doing the Wasatch Back in a few weeks, so i am trying to put in some extra running for it. I am scheduled for the Spudman at the end of July, but am looking to possibly add one more before it, si I am thinking about Echo on the 15th, has any one done that one before, how is it? Those of you doing Provo in a few weeks, good luck.

Here's my race schedule:

Provo Tri (sprint)
Echo Tri (oly)
Provo River 1/2 Marathon
Jordanelle (sprint)
Ogden (oly)
Kokopelli (oly)
Telos Turkey Tri (sprint)

I may add/remove one or two and change distances based on how I feel and $$$ this season. I'm planning on having Ogden as my "A" race.

I just signed up for the Echo Triathlon...sprint. How about we all cross our fingers and hope Aaron doesn't die in his first OW swim.

** Registered so I HAVE to do them! : )

Hope everyone did great this past weekend in their races!! Just a little side note...My brother in law did the Idaho Ironman yesterday and finished at 14 hours. What a stud!!!!!!!!!!!

The WBR was incredible, it was quite a memory maker. Talk about your hot days! I thought I was going to die on a couple of my legs. I am nursing my knee now, I hurt it on my second leg. I am feeling some pain in the back of my knee, have any of you had that before? I feel tention when I try to straighten out my leg. How did Provo go?
