So, I have a Mavic CXP 32-hole wheelset on my 2001 QR - Tequilo, but my front wheel is slightly warped.  I've checked the spokes to make sure everything was tight. I guess I could take them into my LBS to make sure they are true, but if I were to replace them with something newer, what would you all recommend?

Depends what you rant out of the wheel... If you're looking for a great training wheelset, the you already have that... Trying the wheel should less than $25....

Why not these wheels and the get an aero front wheel and a disc cover for the rear for all your racing?

A wheel can be out of true and all the spokes are still tight.  A bike shop can retrue the wheel for a fairly nominal fee.  I'd just stay with those wheels, and as the PP mentioned get a disc cover for the back ($100), and look for a used 60mm deep-V front wheel for races.

My training wheels are from 2002 (Mavic Ksyrium Elites) and are as bombproof as ever.
