Likely to do this race.   However, I was originally looking at the Sunapee race until that got cancelled, so I'm a little nervous since this is also a new race.   Does anybody have any background knowledge of the organizers?  This is my one Olympic distance race for the year which I'll be training hard for, so just really looking for some reassurance it will happen as planned, with good support etc.

Like you, I was interested in the Sunapee event, so I found this one while looking for another Olympic distance to do.  I just signed up!  They have been involved in running other tris in the area, so I think (hope?) they have the logistics down. It's an out and back for both the run and the ride.  This is the event organizer's site:  http://www.90percentmental.net/index.html.  It has all the info for the race there.  I emailed them a question and they got right back to me, so I am sure if you have some specific things you want to ask, they will respond.

Hope to see you there!

I'm not ready for an Oly but I'm planning on volunteering at this event. I hope to do it someday as it is really close to home for me!

Hope to see you guys there! I'll be the Asian girl with the 3/4 sleeve of rabbit tattoos.

Thinking about doing this as my first Oly...anyone here done it and have feedback? I live about 35 minutes away so I can easily check out the course. I'd love to hear what people thought of the event.

It looks like a pretty nice one but it's a week before Wallis Sands which is definitely on my to-do list this year.  If I can get someone to drive to Keene with me maybe I'll do it.

Yeah, Wallis Sands is definitely on my to-do...it was such an amazingly well run race and I love Portsmouth. I'm leaning heavily on doing Otter Limits, making it my A race, and then taking a couple days off, then some light days and just having fun at Wallis Sands.

That's a good idea.  I was aiming at 8/24 as my A race which is also an Oly.  I'm sure I could do Otter 3 weeks later then just kind of cruise through Wallis Sands.  Gotta look into how that flows for me.
