Montana Marathon - Billings

I finished the Montana Governor's Cup half marathon yesterday.  My last half marathon was 18 years ago.  The course is a beautiful run from Molt into West Billings around the Yellowstone Country Club and down Rimrock ending at Dahlis Stadium.  It is all pavement with several long descents which made for some sore legs today.  The organizers and volunteers do an awesome job with this well supported race.  Many locals along the route cheering. 

I finished below my predicted time so I was happy.  I was surprised at how emotional I was to cross the finish line and see my husband waiting and cheering.  He is always a great fan, but this time, I was especially glad to have someone greet me at the finish.
