interested. there is a "group" ride leaving from the Ride On store at 8am... i think i have been the only one to ever show up to it and just the store manager rides alone most weekends.

edit: nm, just saw the date was not this weekend, i'm probably doing the spinx marathon that weekend.

Excellent.  I usually ride the Clemson Triathlon loop (sort of), so game day may not be the best plan.  I'm open on the route.  I'll circle back as the 20th approaches.  Looking forward to it.

Ypu guys are braver than I am. I shift my rides to Sunday or the trainer when Clemson has an early home game. I have had to many close encounters with (possibly drunk) fans heading to the game. Be careful and safe.

I vote for somewhere away from Clemson given the crowds.  Open to anywhere...would prefer some rural roads which there are plenty of around here/there.

you guys could meet at the park in anderson where rev3 has their bike start and do the 70.3 loop. should end up being ~50 miles from when you leave the park and go back by.

I may be up for a ride, but not ready to commit yet.

Mike, Here's the bakery ride I was telling you about I had heard of.  It's hilly up to the bakery and then downhill on the way back.  Total of 35 miles. It's called the "Saluda Bakery ride".  Would love to try it sometime.

I'm the same, up for a ride but can't commit yet. The SO doesn't get back until Friday afternoon. I'll check back as Friday rolls around.

I'm still in.  Weather looks fantastic Saturday.  I've read some sketchy reports on the REV3 half course.  Looks like we could start as early as 8am with temps around 50deg.  Anyone local, and able to ride, willing to take the reins on course selection?  Thanks.

Sold my bike today!! New one on order....doubt I will have a bike to ride.  Otherwise, I would be in.  If my bike comes in, is built, and I have the fitting....I am in.  Realistically, I doubt all of this will happen prior to Saturday.

I am doing an 18 mile run this weekend (training for the Vegas marathon God willing) in downtown Greenville.  I still have shoes....if you can handle my slower pace, you are welcome to join me! Sold my Cervelo and bought a Shiv today. Didn't have my size so they are ordering mine today

Kyle...the Cervelo was great.  I have been eyeing Specialized and went ahead and stuck my Cervelo on Craigs list Saturday night....a guy called me and bought it yesterday and I didn't take a hit that I thought was unfair.  He made up my mind for me!   Great race yesterday btw.

I am doing an 18 mile run . . .

Stopped reading there.  I'll be back in Clemson in December.  Hopefully, we can get a ride in then.  Alright, any of you suckers going to take me out riding in the Upstate?

Giving it one more shot, anyone in?  Right now the best I can find is the Ride On ride Saturday morning ride in Anderson that could be, according to the shop and depending on who shows, really casual.  Still looking for other options if anyone's interested.  Thanks.

There is a pretty good chance I will be doing Caesar's Head on Sat. It is a little shorter than what you were looking for (24 m) round trip. The climb makes up for the distance. I like it because it's like a tempo ride where I can maintain a steady power level for about an hour. Beautiful scenery this time of year and all north of Hwy 11 so little to no traffic.

Hey Goosedog, with my SO not here this week I couldn't plan anything, turns out I guessed right, my DS has something Saturday and I can't make it this time. I need to earn some points for the Hincapie Gran Fondo next week. Next time, you said sometime in November right? I would recommend Caesar's Head and pschriver would be a good one to ride with. Just don't wear him out too much as I think he's doing the Gran Fondo also. Cheers

No worries.  I think I'm going to ride Caesar's Head, but might be there a shade earlier than pschriver.  I'll be back in Clemson in December, so I'll post up and see if anyone can ride.  Thanks.
