There is a Dynamo club in Brookhaven.  I haven't been because it is almost impossible to reach a live person over the phone and their website isn't very helpful for beginners or those that don't know how their system works.

Dynamo in Chamblee is hands down the BEST masters program in Atlanta. 

Maria Thrash is top notch.  Send her an e-mail at: [email protected]


They have Masters M-F 3x per day and most Saturday mornings.

Concourse Athletic club has a masters program also that I use.  I've gotten good results from the coaches there.  I learned to swim a couple years ago and it quickly became my best of the 3 sports and i put the least amount of time into swimming by far.  I'm not one of the "big engine" folks either

Thanks everybody! Looks like Dynamo is a good fit for what I want to do. Efficiency and open water training is what I need and seems I can get both there.I'll get in touch w/Maria.... appreciate the info.
