Warm down: great food tent and band, then a drive back to the jacuzzi for one last quick soak before the long drive home. What limited your ability to perform faster: we all know the answer to this question. Event comments: If you love Rehoboth Beach, and want to visit when it's not 98 degrees, this is a good reason. With the outlet malls, there is no off-season here, so everything is open, and the downtown is decorated nicely. I have really struggled with racing this last year and I have finally started to appreciate how far I've come (since starting triathlon)...I'm trying to focus on the fact that I can run half marathons when 5 years ago I couldn't run. The progress you have made is truly remarkable...don't discount how far you have come. Keep on keeping on! |

Convince myself that it really was time to get out of bed, and that the tempting coziness of the warm bed and beautiful woman in it were just there to keep me from my goals. Besides, she signed up too, and no way was I letting her sleep in. Late registrations for races are expensive!
