Subject: ABQ Running Shop doing a Boston Marathon Relief Run

They said on their FB page that they have mapped out a 2.62 mile loop from the (new) shop. They will donate $5 per loop to the Boston Marathon relief efforts, up to $1,000. Sign in starts at 5 PM and the running is 6:00 to 7:30.

I'll be there with my son and husband.

I planned on going but didn't think the weather was going to turn nasty, so I went home after work. I didn't bring anything other than shorts and a t-shirt with me.

I planned on going but didn't think the weather was going to turn nasty, so I went home after work. I didn't bring anything other than shorts and a t-shirt with me. 


I did the same thing... changed into my shorts and tech shirt at work, went outside , and then said "WTF?". I wasn't expecting that weather...

However, I was able to get home and grab a jacket. Got four laps in (two of them with the infamous "Mountain Lion McLovin'").

Great turnout - I was happy to see the running community come together like that.

My son and I went. What an incredible turnout! My son is just getting in to running so we did one lap but it was awesome, and it inspired him (my son) to stay with it and he wants us to do a 5k now!
