Subject: Anybody doing/has done Pigman 70.3 in Iowa?
The Pigman 70.3 in Cedar Rapids Iowa will be my long race for the year. Just looked at the calendar and it is less then a month a away. Pre-race jitters have started.... Anybody else heading west to do it?

I"m racing it! Haven't raced Pigman before, this will be my first year at that race. Should be fun!

I did this race last year. Great event! Swim is perfect, ride is what I would call rolling hills and the run was pretty tough - hilly and little shade. Great race though and you will have a blast! Best of luck to you out there!

Tough run doesnt sound fun Of course there really isnt an "easy" run after riding a hard bike pace for 56 miles. I did a trial today moderate 55 mile bike with long run after and survived..... Will see what happens on race day (my first 70.3)

I have talked to a few that have also been at this race before. All accounts are a well run/supported event.
