Subject: Tri bike for sale locally...
Have a Cervelo P3 I purchased in December (not the new frame) and I need to part with it for various reasons (none bike related). The bike was used for Vineman this past July, and only on the road a handful (less than 5) of times before the race (and a few rides on the trainer). It's a stock Ultegra build with Svet base bars and T2+ areobars. Located in the Phoenix area, and can probably deliver to the SoCal area next month if our plans stay the same. Willing to ship, we'd just have to work out the cost on shipping. I'm keeping my saddle and pedals, so you're on your own there, but I'll thrown in the (almost new) Gatorskins if you'd like to have some training tires. Size 61- I'm 6' or 6'1" with a 34-35 inch inseam and it fits me perfect for those wondering. I'll get some pics up soon... just checking interest. I have always been an athlete, growing up playing team sports like basketball and soccer. I also ran in a couple of 10K races every year, so I had no reason to worry about running a 5K...right?

After I left the running store, I couldn't stop thinking about the sprint tri and how much of a challenge it would be for me. So instead of joining a gym, I started riding my bike and it felt great.

The triathlon bike vs. road bike quandary. Before you even ask the road bike vs. tri bike question, you should have a couple sprint triathlons or duathlons under your belt.

I couldn't believe that my splits kept getting lower! I started to run harder after I passed the "5 km" sign and picked a few people that I wanted to pass.
