Stages discounts?

I have not, but I had only been looking into them for the last month or so. I would guess that since most models are on back order, there won't be any discounts until they catch up with the demand.

They occasionally pop up on the classifieds for $100 off.

Consider Stages just like Flo right now. For a new product the price is firm for the time being, it's already the cheapest PM on the market or one of so not much money to be left on the table.

Yeah I would not expect them to lower their prices anytime soon. When I ordered mine, it was on back order for 5 weeks. Luckily it gave me enough time to cancel my order after I found out it wouldn't fit my bike. I wouldn't be complaining about the price of stages. It's the cheapest crank based system by far and hardly adds any weight.

Who's complaining? I remembered someone saying their team got a discount, just checking. Can't hurt, right?

I read on ST earlier in November that they wouldn't be doing any discounts in the near future, and it seems likely.

Of course, I did read it on the internet..
