I thought I'd put these "polls" out as a matter of curiousity, as a benchmark of sorts. However, it occured to me that regardless of where any of us are with respect to times, this may serve as a way of inspiring us to improve. For me, competition, whether with myself or with others, is a great motivator.

The problem with the poll is, there isn't any distance noted. In training I definitely ride slower than in races. In races 20 miles or shorter, I want to ride at at least 20mph, but more important is my cadence. I ride at a cadence of 90-95 rpm's. In races longer than 20 miles I only care about the cadence.
Hope that helps
Take care
Tom
