Should not have biked 40miles the day before. My legs felt a bit tired. Should have gotten a little more sleep. Only had about 6 hours or so.
What would you do differently?:

Get more sleep. Not biked the day before. Don't smoke before the race.

Take it easy the day before and stop smoking before the race.

Warm down:

Could not really warm down. Had to get home before the In-Laws left for Monterrey

What limited your ability to perform faster:

My ability to perform faster was the lack of training since last Tri and my smoking. I have to quit smoking!!!!!
I went on a 40 mile ride the day before..

Event comments:

IT was pretty good but the swim was in a pool and I had to wait to enter about 1.5 hours

I have to agree with you, stop smoking and not ride 40 mile the day before..hehe. Looks like you did a great job though! Congratulations!
