Subject: RE: 10.3.14 Fabulous Friday! Started out at the beach this morning and did my planned club swim were we did 1 lap of the white buoy. This week it was my turn to play 'Wagon Master" so at the buoy, I had to swim back and corral the rest of the swimmers. (No Coyote Left Behind) The guy who usually does this is recovering and did not swim this morning. (He did a Catalina Swim)
Then I transitioned through the coffee house to a bike commute to work. At lunch I headed out from the office and ran down to flat rock and back with the last 6 miles at marathon pace. The run felt awesome and it seems like I am finding some great intensity during taper time.
After work I am riding back to my car and have an afternoon swim planned.
(2500 Meter Swim, 15 Mile Bike, 10 Mile Run, 15 Mile Bike, 1000 Meter Swim)
Taper Week Two is quickly coming to a close and I am really getting amped for my planned 16 mile run on Sunday.
