Subject: Bassman - October 8th
Hello All!!

Is anyone doing this race? I'm going to take my first crack at it, this will be my first duathlon. It is something I have always wanted to do, and I feel I am ready (mentally more then physically) My goals are number 1 to finish, and number 2 not to be last.

I'm from Jersey City, I have struggled with weight for most of my life. And I think that Duathlons, and Triathlons are great ways to loss weight and get into shape!

Awesome Booj. I really considered this one but its a little too late in the season. Let everyone know how it is and I may see you next year! Good luck at your first event, have a ton of fun!

I am planning to do the 1/2 IM....anyone else? I haven't entered yet...does anyone know if it gets closed out??

I haven't entered yet either, but I wouldn't expect it to close out too quickly being so late in the season and a first time race. But at the same time I could also be very wrong, i plan on signing up by the end of February to be on the safe side.
