Scheduled rest day for this kid.

Legs are feeling good today with just a bit of lingering stiffness. Tomorrow is going to be when DOMS hits and my hope is that my level of activity post-race is enough to keep that to a minimum.

One thing I did appreciate. I finally gave up on BodyGlide and went for Vaseline instead and ended the day with ZERO chafing issues. I usually get a bit of it from my HRM strap and sometimes from the seams in my suit but yesterday I had none of that. (Don't care how messy it is, I am sticking with what works)

Hoping to hike the canyons with the hound after work but nothing more than that. (She is only good for a mile or two before she gets tired and wants to go back to sleep)

Busy day here!

Kids were off school, so tortured them by taking them on a 6 mile hike through the desert :-)!

We went with friends, and my friend and I had a blast, then kids, well lets just say they were happy to be done!

Back to regular scheduled programming tomorrow!
