Good morning BT!

4:15am:  1:10 on the KK, Z2 endurance

5:30am:  30 minutes strength + core

5:15 AM Easy one hour run.
4:45 PM 3000m of swimming with plenty of hard 100's

Supposed to be in a workshop all weekend (thus wanted to get in a decent swim today) but after all the craziness this week, plus have come down with a cold, just too exhausted to contemplate doing that, working all next week (plus an XC meet) and then taking off for a week in the US next Saturday. Trying desperately to get out of at least one day of the workshop so I can catch up on online coursework and pack. Weekends are pretty busy anyway with training, errands, and coursework.

Crawling to bed now!

On the plus side, I got the track scores last night and our girls placed third, boys 5th, out of 11in the league. It's the first time we've had elementary track, the first time for most of the kids to compete, and they did it without any entrants in the high jump, discus, or shot (since we have no equipment for them yet). Woot!

As much as it drives me insane, nothing on the schedule today besides rest. Saw a new specialist yesterday for some treatment on my nagging IT (it's been doing much better) and he wanted me to take the day off today. Back into it tomorrow- 10.5 weeks til Boston.

Good morning!

1030 I will head to the pool and swim at least 1650m. I love having the base pool so close to my office, pic is view from my office of the gym!

Tonight I have a bike fit scheduled, then will head home and pedal for an hour.

30 minutes of intervals on the TM and 25 minutes of strength training concentrating on ankles and legs, to crappy cold -20C and Icy sidewalks to get outside here

8:15am - 40 min of strength work

9am - 2000yd in the pool. Intervals and started to fade during the last 200.

Another awesome run down at the beach today. Started out at the trail head and ran through the lagoon down to state beach and then south to the Glider Port and  back. (10 Miles)

LOTS of folks picnicking on the beach today all dressed up. Torrey Pines has a big golf tournament going on this weekend and it looks like things are already in full swing today.

I am still on the fence about doing the San Dieguito Half Marathon this weekend. It is a last minute add as a tuneup race and is intended to kick off training for the OC Marathon in 12 weeks. Decisions Decisions....
