Going to start a trainerroad plan this week to get ready for June Olympic race. I'm going to use the low volume plan but I'm wondering how you balance the plan with running. It's supposedly not good to do two hard workouts back to back days but almost all the trainerroad workouts are harder rides so how do you trainerroad users plan hard runs around it? Or do you not subscribe to the hard/easy method. Lookin for your approaches to trainerroad. Thanks
We will actually have a brand new, 8-week Olympic Distance Specialty Plan out early spring. The new plan will not provide running workouts, but it will provide an ideal structure with suggestions of when to do you running/swimming workouts in between your cycling.
