Subject: 3.26.15 Happy Thursday!

Good morning Peeps!

4:30am:  7.5 mile headlamp run with my pooch Lola--lots of climbing. Best thing about running long hills in the dark is you can't see the top--just keep chugging along until it suddenly feels easier.

I think I'm at the point in my Ironman training where I need to really stretch and use the foam roller.  Nothing hurts, but could just feel some tweaks and twinges. Time to focus on staying injury free!

Good morning!

I was just talking with a friend about starting to use my foam roller, typical love/hate relationship going on with that thing.

50 minutes of pedaling in my future, if the weather turns nice like they say, I will do it outside! Otherwise it's the computrainer, again.

I wish we had hills here in Houston... I'll be resting today finally ^_^

I have been waiting all day for the UPS man to deliver several packages.  It is nearly 4 pm and he is still not here.  I should have gone on my bike ride early.  I think I will go run an errand.  That will surely trigger the arrival.

When packages are safely inside, I shall go for a bike ride, either inside or outside depending on the delivery time.

Oh yes, the dreaded roller. I love/ hate mine but it makes such a huge difference! I've started using a rumble roller - OMG, it takes it to the next level but really does a great job of getting a little deeper!

busy day today!

5:15am - 60 min power spin - high cadence stuff

9:30am - 60 min cycle class (on our own bikes with trainers) - more high cadence stuff

11am - 2400yd - lots of short,quick and painful intervals.

oh my, I'm beat! Great day though!

Tried to post last night but site seemed to be down.

AM: One hour easy run
PM 3100m of swimming with lots of 100m repeats.

In a similar situation. I almost never get sore from training--just something weird about my body-- but my legs and back feel really tight sometimes--probably from being on my feet almost all day after training in the AM. Trying to address it with the foam roller but really miss my old massage lady (she retired and her replacement wasn't very good).

I'm on the other side of the college-student desk. I'm the one with the red pen in my hand. Those of us with schedules that change from day to day actually have an advantage, I think.
