Subject: Compressed Couch to 5K -Pls scratch this question
Hello All,

I started the Couch to 5K on this site (great by the way) but only have 2 months to my small tri (3.5 mile run, 12.5 mile bike, 1.5 kayak) so I'm looking at compressing the 4 month plan if my 54-year-old bod can handle it. I'm a rower so I'm in pretty good shape (sans small beer gut from our miserable winter). The challenge for me is the run. Instead of so many days off I'm thinking of 2 days then rest a day. I understand the need for rest and recovery but would like to reduce it. Has anyone tried this? I know it's not ideal but...

Thanks!

Jeff

All I can tell you is what I've used.

I downloaded C25K Free by Zen Labs onto my phone. It's 3 days a week for 8 weeks.

For as long as I can remember, I’ve had weight issues. I remember standing on the scale as a child weighing 60 pounds and feeling fat. My family dealt with stress by eating.
