Good morning BT!

OFF day for me...did a little 30 minute walk on the TM just to move a bit

HR...loved the doggy story.  The best dog I ever had was a ridgeback mix.

Susan...I was rooting for the Cardinals but no amount of cheering from Nevada could save them last night!

Have a great day all...and here's to another week!

One hour trainer ride--mostly easy stuff with some high-cadence pickups. "Hair of the dog", so to speak. Feeling a bit tired tonight, so headed off to bed!

Managed a 3600m swim and a 26min run. Had a pretty solid trainer sesh planned also, but quite tired, so tomorrow.

Thanks Kim - miserable game last night. We turned it off. No amount of cheering from anyone could have saved them. It was a great season though and proud of the team! happy the Broncos won - now I want them to beat the Panthers!!!

8:15am 15 min eliptical
50 min of ST and PT work

9:30 - 45 min spin class

core work and stretch after!

Hopefully I will be back for a while. I am getting my butt kicked opening the new hospital We open Feb 22 and we are running our 2 minute offense for the next 30 days.

My workouts are non existent but I have run the last 3 days.

I found out I qualified for nationals in Nebraska. I will get my butt kicked but I think I will give it the old college try. It's the motivation I needed to start working out again.

Does anyone have a good training program for an Olympic distance? My swim is competitive, my running holds its own, but my bike is worse than pathetic.

I do miss getting on the site and reading what everyone is doing.

I went into the pool area (as this was a pool swim) and got body marked. That's when it hit me that I was there to race - this was not a clinic.

I have been able to swim 200-300 yards without stopping for the past couple of weeks, but this morning I couldn’t swim more than 50. Could not eating make a big differance?

This is not an easy task, especially for the “9-to-5er” with family. But you can do it – all without sacrificing your marriage, job or family.

Once you caught your breath, it occurred to you that finishing even a short triathlon might be harder than you thought. After a few "laps" you thought, "I can't believe I'm so out of shape."
