Good morning BT! How the heck are ya!

4:30am:  :50 minute run, nice and comfortable

5:30am:  :40 minutes lower body strength.  I get so bored with the same strength routine I keep mixing it up.  I guess as long as I keep pushing and pulling heavy stuff I'm OK.

After school:  OWS out at Blue! Should be a beautiful afternoon for it!

Have a great day!

Susan...we have the same type of weekend to look forward to!  I'm so excited!

AM One hour trainer ride, mostly easy stuff with a few pickups.

Never did get sore from Sunday's race; finally got my appetite back after being nauseated for almost two days. (I think I got pretty seriously overheated between the race and crazy aftermath of getting myself/my bike back to the hotel, the airport, and then Saigon. It was a pretty epic day.

Found out today I somehow won the sprint series title for my AG, although I only did 2 out of the 3 races in the series. Not sure how that is possible--I guess none of the other top women in my AG did all three either? Sadly, money or goodies are not involved, just a big trophy that I'm not sure they're going to be able to get to me.

I got my bike back from it's pre-race turn-up on Saturday and took it out this morning.  It was the first time on my "A" bike in about three weeks and it rides very different from my "B" bike.  The "B" bike has a frame that isn't very adjustable so the reach is to long and I don't get as much drop from the seat to the aero bars as I need.  The "B" bike also has 650c tires and switching back to the 700c tires was trippy.  The cadence at any given speed and effort is very different.  The "A" bike also runs out of gears a lot quicker.  I was running out of gears on the flats today at about 25 mph. I don't run out of gears on the "B" bike until about 31-32 MPH (which I only occasionally hit going down big hills). The bike felt smooth though. I just need to get my rhythm them back on the "A" bike now.  3-4 rides and I will have it zeroed in.  After my easy 40 minute bike ride (I wanted to go gentle on the bike to see that everything checked out)  I did a 10 minute run brick.

Awesome!

Insist that they send you the big trophy!

3 mile run tonight with some tempo mixed in, followed by 30 minutes strength. Have a great night my friends
