Comments: With this being the longest I'd ever ridden in one day, I didn't know what to expect. I started pretty comfortably then only got faster from there. The first 20 miles went very smoothly. Then I stopped at a rest stop to get some more nutrition, but not for very long. The next stretch I was feeling good, so I went a little bit harder(somewhat because of pressure from my dad, he wanted to make sure I had nothing left in the tank at the end :). This section was made up entirely of rough country roads, so that made it a bit more interesting. At mile 44, I stopped one more time to fill my bottles and get some food. On the last stretch my dad and I joined a large group and were able to hold a pretty solid pace. What would you do differently?: not much. I wasn't trying to race, so it was as good as I expected it to be. Post race
Warm down: Walked around, ate some free tamales.. that's about it. What limited your ability to perform faster: Only my fitness. Last updated: 2016-04-01 12:00 AM

I woke up at 5:15 and ate breakfast. After getting the last things ready, I headed to the course. When I got there, I went to the bathroom then to the start line: no warm up because the ride was so long and I could just use the first few miles as warm up.
None. Not much time between when I got there and when I started.
