Good morning, folks!

5:45 - 35 minute moderate run. Humid as heck, which brought my HR up a bit, but was still okay and pace was good.

Have a great day!

yup - HUUUUUMID here too - and 108 degrees. I actually heard one of our weather people over the radio say that tomorrows weather was going to be "disgusting". Welcome to monsoon season in Phoenix!

5:15am - 60 min power spin - max efforts on decending time intervals - omg my legs are tired!
9:00am - 3.5 mile run - why I chose to run during this time IDK but I survived.
10am - 2000yd swim

Stay cool my amigos!

I competed in the Austin Splash and Dash tonight. It was a 750m swim in a quarry followed by a 2 mile run on a trail that goes around the quarry. The funny thing about this race is how many little kids there were. I couldn't imagine that most of them were older than middle schoolers, but they had some talent. Half way through the swim, I was swarmed and passed by a school of tuna, only it wasn't tuna. It was a bunch of little girls. It's amazing how well they control themselves in the water.  The swim and the run were both hot, and since it's such a short race I was red lining the whole time. We all plummeted back into the lake after finishing, trying to cool off in 90 degree water. It was a small vibe gig, 70 athletes. I demolished a burger at the end and grabbed a few free samples. This is an ongoing series throughout the summer, so I can't wait for the next one to see how my times compare.

That sounds fun. For me, 3K of swimming in Canada's longest pool (137m) at Kitsilano Beach Park in Vancouver.

No way! What are you doing up there? I used to live on 12th st. You have to go running in both Stanley Park and Pacific spirit regional park....and everywhere else for that matter. Van is so beautiful
