Elite  4583   |  Subject: 10.30.16 Sunday FundayGood morning BT! 9:00am: 2 hour trail run--got into some pretty treacherous areas. At one point bit it pretty hard and went down like a sack of potatoes! Lol! Ripped my favorite pair of running tights--boo! Ah well, no injury, just a scraped up knee. The winds are supposed to whip up pretty hard today so glad I got out and back when I did! Have a great day! |

My knees are covered with old scars as it is usually on badly paved road or bike paths. Ugh. Not much outdoor action here. One hour trainer ride and 20-minute brick run. Managed to make it downtown for brunch and errands but the inevitable deluge hit just as I was looking for a taxi back. Ended up sitting in a coffee shop (at least I had my laptop and some schoolwork on board) for about an hour and a half, finally gave up and got wet getting a taxi--water was up to the doors at some points en route. Another three hours of rain after. Anyone want to take bets on my getting in a 3K swim workout today? 90% chance of rain, and I can't get in the pool till 4:30 due to kids' practice. I'm putting odds at 10-15%. |

Master 3888 Overland Park, KS | Subject: RE: 10.30.16 Sunday Funday Got up early for the local running clubs Sunday Runday, ran 8 miles. Lounged around most of the day watching football then got on the bike at 4:00 and got in 40 miles. Still working some of that post IM weight off  |
