Subject: RE: 12.6.16 Tuesday Training That is odd....I think for most people the run HR is a bit higher. I know my HR is really affected by the temperature when I did the test--might be true in your case as well. People usually do the bike test indoors on a trainer--at this time of year, it might be quite a bit warmer than temps outside. (For me it's the opposite--I think all but one of my FTP tests have been in temps at least 73-75; runs have been in the 80's or even 90's. ) I think that flattens out the difference between HR in my case. Bike is about 5-8 BPM lower than run. Hard to compare tests done in different conditions.
