Wow I get to start the thread this morning. Went to the gym for spinning again, then an ab work out after. Back to the pool at lunch. Swimming is really coming along, can swim 600m non-stop all freestyle.

Have a nice day everyone

Chris

I'm tapering and suffering panic attacks (not real ones) that maybe I need to be working HARDER all at the same time. Good grief!!!!

So, in that disoriented spirit....

I'll definitely do some yoga today.
Swimming, slow and gentle.
running, slow, short, and gentle -but then, that's how I always run.

Got up this morning and had a lovely bike ride to the local casino. Ran around that (there are some beautiful fountains, a walking/bike path, and quiet roads) for a total of 3 miles, then biked to Starbucks. Enjoyed my breakfast cookie with a coffee, then biked home. I plan to swim tonight.

Ran today....I am going to really concentrate on my running and see if I can't pick it up for my next (2nd) tri. I ran intervals I guess. I ran fast, then walked, ran fast, then walked, etc. It was raining so I ran on a treadmill at 0.5% incline. I hope this approach will work for me to increase my running speed!

swam 2400m last night, haven't been able to get to the pool lately because of storms here.

Swimming tonight too, shorter though.

12 mile ride to work. Hot here today, about 94 on the ride in. Fortunately the humidity is in the upper teens so that helps.

Biked 17 miles, including 20 minutes or so of hill repeats. Then 11 SLOW miles with my kids, helping them get the hang of gearing. Followed by a 1 hour weights/abs class.

Rest day tomorrow...just yoga. Thank goodness, I'm beat and my legs are singing. Long brick on Sat, s-b-r.

After a real crappy week, I finally got out for a run and ran a PB of 5mi in 44:34...I realize that's not a blistering pace, but I've worked very hard to get that down from 10 minute miles.

Good night.
