Anyone doing the Rambling Rose tri on October 22nd? I just decided to do it, it will be my first!

Cool! Where is it? I'm volunteering that weekend away at the Setup-inc. Invitational ... and the Inside Out Sports 10k/ Half Mary races ... but there's always next year!

It is at the UNC wellness center in Chapel Hill. The swim is in the pool, which kinda sucks, but I am still excited.

My coach is encouraging me to do it--while she's doing an Iron Man this weekend! Am not sure. Would love to hear from folks who just do sprint-triathlons as to what they like, enjoy, stay challenged by.

I will be doing the Rambling Rose here in Charlotte on Oct. 7th. I am really looking forward to it. It will be my 3rd triathlon (did 1 earlier this year and then will be doing Lake Norman in August) and I am very excited about it. I think it looks like a great race to be anyone's first triathlon. I say go out, do it and have fun with it!
